This grappa shows a pale golden yellow color, limpid and crystalline. The nose
denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas of vanilla, violet, caramel, plum,
licorice, raspberry, blueberry, apple and hazelnut, almost imperceptible
alcohol pungency. In the mouth is agreeable and intense with alcohol pungency
which tends to dissolve rapidly, balanced sweetness, agreeable. The finish is
persistent with flavors of caramel, plum and licorice. A well made grappa
produced with discontinuous method in steam operated alembic stills and aged
in small barrels. |
