Roero Arneis Vigneto Dalmazzo 2001
Luigi Giordano (Italy)
Roero (Piedmont)
A good example of Roero Arneis. The wine is crystalline and has a
light straw yellow color with an evident greenish-yellow tint. It has very
good and intense aromas, mainly fruit aromas, in particular pear,
hazelnut, apple, hawthorn, pineapple and litchi are easily
recognizable. A very pleasing and typical bouquet. In the mouth the
wine is pretty crisp and it is well balanced with alcohol, the body is
good and typical for this kind of wine. Flavors are intense and
persistent and it has a finish of almond and hazelnut. This Roero Arneis
is refined in bottle for 2-3 months.
