Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Capitel Monte Olmi shows an intense
ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose
denotes intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start
with hints of blackberry, plum and dried violet followed by aromas of black
cherry, blueberry, vanilla, tobacco, cocoa, cinnamon, green bean, licorice,
leather and menthol. The mouth has excellent correspondence to the nose, a
tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, intense flavors, full body,
pleasing roundness. The finish is very persistent with long flavors of
blackberry, plum and black cherry. Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Capitel Monte Olmi ages for 4 years in cask followed by 6 months of aging
in bottle. |
