The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of garnet red,
little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and elegant
aromas that start with hints of black cherry, blueberry and plum followed
by aromas of dried violet, vanilla, tobacco, carob, licorice and hints of
rosemary and clove. In the mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a
slightly tannic attack and however balanced, good body, intense flavors,
good tannins. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, blueberry and
black cherry. San Leopardo ages for 12 months in cask.
