Last night I had, you guess it, barbecue with my friends and we shared this bottle of Californian Cab.
The color was dark and intense ruby red with a wonderful nose of black berry, plum jam, solid spicy aromas of vanilla and great hints of bell pepper.
The taste was fruity with a full bodied structure and a good and long finish.
It was a good match with barbecue as well as good to drink alone.

I am not very familiar with California Cabernet Sauvignon but I am very attracted by it. Here in Italy it is usually easy to find in wine shops Gallo's wines but I have never tried them.
Can you guys please provide more information about Californian Cabernet Sauvignon?

I know this wine and I had it a couple of times. I think it is a good bargain and affordable wine, supple and full bodied. I had it with barbecue and it was a good match.
