Hi Antonello,

At the moment, the main index of the forum shows the latest update in a thread but once you enter the topic selection, it seems the only way to tell a latest update is by scrolling down and look for the dates and time which are not very obvious and time consuming, especially if the thread is long and if the same forumite has written more than once.

Is it possible to have a flag or something in colour to indicate the latest update in any thread to make it easier to find and more obvious?

Thanks very much!

Hello jc,
thank you for your valuable feedback about EnoForum. The system already flags all the new messages since the last user's visit. This is signalled by a specific icon in the right side of the message bar (the top green bar). This icon is a document page with a yellow star. Maybe this system is not sufficiently evident to spot new messages, so we thought to follow your suggestion and we modified EnoForum accordingly. Now the system - besides showing the above mentioned icon - also changes the color of the message bar into orange. This will give the user a two way system to know about new messages since his or her last visit. I hope this will help.

Thank you for your feedback and support in making EnoForum a better place for all wine lovers.

Yes, thanks! I think by changing the colour to orange will be more obvious. However, I still haven't noticed any changes yet... has the new system started yet??

Yes! The new system has started the day after you posted your feedback. If you cannot see the change it is probably because your browser did not reload all the required files, in other words, it is still using the old files stored in its internal cache. I suggest you to clear your browser's cache and try again. You can alternatively forse the reload by pressing the shift button in your keyboard while clicking the "reload" button.
