This brandy is limpid and crystalline with a deep amber yellow color. The
nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas of prune,
dried fig, tobacco, vanilla, cocoa, black cherry, honey, praline, sandal
wood and licorice, with almost imperceptible alcohol pungency. In the
mouth has intense flavors with perceptible alcohol pungency which tends to
dissolve rapidly, good correspondence to the nose, smooth and pleasing
roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of prune, praline, cocoa,
honey and licorice. This brandy is made from the distillation in copper
alembic still of aged Barbera wine and ages for three years in small oak
barrels. |
