Tufico shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow,
very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined
aromas which start with hints of hawthorn, plum and apple followed by
aromas of broom, yeast, almond, pear, grapefruit and hints of mineral. In
the mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and pleasing
roundness, however well balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, apple and almond.
A well made wine. Tufico is produced with late harvested grapes, ages for 7
months in steel tanks followed by at least 6 months of aging in bottle.
