The wine has a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, moderate transparency. The nose reveals good personality, with clean and intense aromas of cherry macerated in alcohol, black cherry jam, plum jam, leather, strawberry, raspberry, licorice and violet. The mouth denotes a slightly crisp attack however well balanced and good correspondence to the nose. The finish is very persistent with pleasing flavors of violet, black cherry jam and plum. This wine is aged in cask for 12 months followed by another aging in cask for 18 months and 8 months in bottle.
