Cuvée Imperiale Brut, Guido Berlucchi (Italy)

Cuvée Imperiale Brut

Guido Berlucchi (Italy)

(Lombardy)
Chardonnay (65%), Pinot Nero (30%), Pinot Bianco (5%)
Sparkling Wine Sparkling Wine Score: ✧✧✧✧

(Lombardy) The wine shows a brilliant greenish yellow color and nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent, good effervescence, fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of banana, pineapple and yeast followed by aromas of bread crust, acacia, hawthorn, pear, apple, hazelnut and grapefruit. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of banana, pineapple and apple. Cuvée Imperiale Brut is produced with the classic method and ages in bottle on its lees for at least 18 months.
