The wine shows a brilliant onion skin pink color and nuances of onion skin
pink, very transparent, good effervescence, fine and persistent perlage.
The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start
with hints of cherry, raspberry and tangerine followed by aromas of bread
crust, hawthorn, yeast, apple, pink grapefruit, plum and vanilla. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack,
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The
finish is persistent with flavors of raspberry, cherry and apple. The cuvée
ferments in barrique. This Franciacorta ages in bottle on its lees for at
least 3 years. |
