The wine shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints of banana, hazelnut and yeast followed by aromas of acacia, butter, pineapple, bread crust, apple, praline, pear and broom. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of banana, pineapple and pear. A well made wine. The base wine ages in barrique. This Franciacorta Satèn ages in bottle on its lees for at least 36 months.
