This Vin Santo di Montepulciano shows a brilliant amber yellow color and
nuances of amber yellow, transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of raisin, dried fig and
almond followed by aromas of honey, candied fruit, citrus fruit peel,
quince jam, peach jam, nail polish and vanilla. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a sweet and round attack, however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of raisin, honey and dried fig. This Vin Santo di
Montepulciano ages for 3 years in small oak barrels. |
