Score: ✧✧✧ |
Rosso di Montepulciano Selciaia shows a brilliant ruby red color and
nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean
and pleasing aromas which start with hints of cherry, raspberry and plum
followed by aromas of violet, cyclamen, vanilla and carob. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent
with flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. Rosso di Montepulciano Selciaia
ages for 4 months in cask followed by about 2 months of aging in bottle. |

Good value wine from Tuscany, Italy.
This Sangiovese blend has a nose of morello cherry and plum with a spicy touch of vanilla.
The body is not so strong, however not thin, it has a good acidity and alcohol. Good finish of plum and morello cherry.

Beautiful ruby red color with bright nuances. Intense aromas of violet, wild berries (cherry, blackberry, prune) and touches of wood aromas. Dry and well balanced with wild berries flavours, round tannins and good finish.

Bel colore rosso rubino intenso e ancora qualche sfumatura violacea.
Equilibrato.
