Score: ✧✧✧ |
This Vernaccia di San Gimignano shows a brilliant greenish yellow color and
nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense,
clean and pleasing aromas which start with hints of pear, apple and almond
followed by aromas of hawthorn, lemon and broom. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple,
lemon and almond. This Vernaccia di San Gimignano ages for 5 months in
steel tanks. |

I had this wine some months ago and liked it. Mainly almond like aromas and taste as well as green apple and a touch of lemon.
