Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of apple, plum and hawthorn followed by aromas of citrus fruits, pear, vanilla, pineapple, broom, almond and mineral. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, apple and almond. Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva ages for 12 months in barrique.
