Franciacorta Pas Dosé shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of
straw yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose
reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints
of bread crust, yeast and banana followed by aromas of acacia, plum,
praline, grapefruit, apple, hazelnut, pear and butter. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The
finish is persistent with flavors of banana, plum and hazelnut. A part of
the Chardonnay used for the production of this Franciacorta Pas Dosé ages
in barrique. It referments in bottle on its lees for at least 36 months. |
