Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Franciacorta Brut Satèn shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of
straw yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose
reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints
of banana, bread crust and yeast followed by aromas of grapefruit,
hazelnut, plum, citrus fruits, praline, apple and hints of vanilla. The
mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp
attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of banana, apple and plum.
Franciacorta Brut Satèn referments in bottle on its lees for 36 months. A
part of the base wine ages in barrique. |
