This Franciacorta Satèn shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of
greenish yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose
reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints
of pear, hazelnut and bread crust followed by aromas of yeast, banana,
acacia, citrus fruits, hawthorn, apple and hints of mineral. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is
persistent with flavors of banana, apple and hazelnut. Franciacorta Satèn
referments in bottle on its lees for 24 months. |

Ho scoperto questo Franciacorta quasi per caso in un'enoteca, attratto soprattutto dal prezzo che mi è sembrato abbastanza "ragionevole". E' stata comunque una bella scoperta, perlage finissimo che sembra infinito con bollicine piccole e minute.
Anche il naso non è da meno e si possono cogliere lievito e crosta di pane, ma anche sfumature più esotiche di banana e ananas.
Bocca cremosa e vellutata, come si conviene al Satèn, molto piacevole. Persistenza lunga.
