Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
This Franciacorta Brut shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of
greenish yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose
denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas that start with hints of apple,
bread crust and hazelnut followed by aromas of citrus fruits, hawthorn,
yeast, plum, grapefruit and honey. The mouth has good correspondence to the
nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good
body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with
flavors of apple, plum and grapefruit. This Franciacorta Brut referments in
bottle on its lees for at least 18 months. |
