Franciacorta Satèn Brut shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of greenish yellow, fine and persistent perlage, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of banana, citrus fruits and yeast followed by aromas of bread crust, hazelnut, acacia, butter, pear, praline and apple. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of banana, apple and pear. The base wine of this Franciacorta Satèn Brut ages in barrique and then referments in bottle on its lees for at least 36 months.
