This Franciacorta Satèn shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of banana, bread crust and hawthorn followed by aromas of acacia, yeast, grapefruit, hazelnut, vanilla and plum. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of banana, hazelnut and apple. A small part of the base wine ages in barrique. This Franciacorta Satèn referments in bottle on its lees for more than 28 months.
