Monferrato Rosso Amis shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet
red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of black currant, black cherry and
plum followed by aromas of blueberry, violet, blackberry, cocoa, tobacco
and eucalyptus. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose a tannic
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of black currant, black
cherry and plum. Monferrato Rosso Amis ages in cask for about 18 months and
ages in bottle for at least 6 months. |
