(Vallée d'Aoste)
Pinot Nero

Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧ |
Valle d'Aosta Pinot Noir shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of
purple red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of cherry, raspberry and
plum followed by aromas of strawberry, geranium and cyclamen. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The
finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. Valle
d'Aosta Pinot Noir ages for 6 months in steel tanks. |
