Score: ✧✧✧✧✧ |
Valle d'Aosta Chardonnay Cuvée Bois shows an intense golden yellow color
and nuances of golden yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense,
clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas that start with hints of
banana, hazelnut and plum followed by aromas of apple, acacia, pear,
grapefruit, vanilla, citrus fruit peel, butter, praline and mineral. The
mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however
balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The
finish is very persistent with long flavors of banana, plum and hazelnut.
Valle d'Aosta Chardonnay Cuvée Bois ages for 10 months in cask followed by
8 months of aging in bottle. |
