Trentino Merlot Bottega Vinai shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and black currant followed by aromas of blueberry, violet and vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, black currant and plum. Trentino Merlot Bottega Vinai ages in barrique for 15 months followed by a short aging in cask.
