(Veneto)
Garganega (50%), Pinot Grigio (20%), Trebbiano di Soave (20%), Durella (10%)
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Roncha shows an intense greenish yellow color and nuances of greenish
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of apple, hawthorn and pineapple,
followed by aromas of pear, peach, almond, plum and mineral. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of apple, pear and pineapple. A small part of
Garganega is allowed to dry for 6 months. Roncha ferments and ages in steel
tanks and casks. |
