Masetto Nero 2010
(Trentino)
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Lagrein, Teroldego
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Masetto Nero shows a deep ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
which start with hints of black cherry, black currant and plum followed by
aromas of blueberry, violet, blackberry, vanilla, tobacco, chocolate and
menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, black
currant and plum, Masetto Nero ages in barrique for 18 months followed by 6
months of aging in bottle. |
