Intense ruby red and nuances of garnet red, little transparency.

Intense, clean, pleasing and refined, starts with hints of black cherry jam, plum jam and dried violet followed by aromas of blackberry jam, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, licorice, mace and menthol.

Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness.

Persistent finish with flavors of black cherry jam, plum jam and blackberry jam.

14 months in barrique, 12 months in bottle.

Alcohol: 14%

Stuffed pasta with meat, Roasted meat, Broiled meat and barbecue, Stewed meat with mushrooms

Di tutti i vini degustati all'evento DiWineTaste dedicato alla Fattoria Ca' Rossa, questo è quello che mi ha colpito di più. Ci ho sentito l'amarena e la prugna matura, poi tutta una serie di profumi complessi dove spiccava il cioccolato e il cuoio.
Molto buono, in piacevole equilibrio fra morbidezza e freschezza, richiama la complessità del naso anche nei sapori con un finale decisamente sopra la media.
