This wine was created in occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first release of Five Roses, the first rose wine bottled in Italy in 1943. The wine shows a beautiful deep pink color with nuances of soft pink. At the nose the wine reveals an olfactory profile mainly of fruit with intense aromas of cherry, strawberry, raspberry as well as a hint of rose and almond. In the mouth it is balanced and has good body as well as intense flavors. Alcohol is clearly perceivable and is balanced by the wine's crispness. The finish is persistent with pleasing flavors of strawberry and raspberry and hints of almonds. The wine is produced with maceration of skins for few hours and a temperature controlled fermentation.
