Vigna San Bartolo 2001
Santa Barbara (Italy)
(Marches)
Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
The wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
which start with hints of black cherry and plum followed by aromas of
blueberry, licorice, carob, violet and hints of toasted wood. In the mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however
well balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, good tannins. The
finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, blueberry and plum.
Vigna San Bartolo ages in cask for 2 years.
