Deep ruby red and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of blackberry, plum and dried violet followed by aromas of black cherry macerated in alcohol, blueberry, chocolate, tamarind, tobacco, cinnamon, licorice, leather, mace, caramel, vanilla and menthol. Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. Very persistent finish with long flavors of blackberry, plum and black cherry macerated in alcohol. 24 months in cask and barrique, 6 months in steel tanks, at least 12 months in bottle.
