Barbaresco (Piedmont) The wine shows a brilliant garnet red color and nuances of orange red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of violet and cherry followed by aromas of raspberry, plum, dried rose, tobacco, licorice and vanilla. In the mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and pleasing crispness, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. This wine ages in cask.

Food match: Roasted meat, Braised and stewed meat, Hard cheese
