(Emilia-Romagna) The wine shows a ruby red color, pretty transparent. The nose reveals the typical aromas of Barbera grape with good correspondence with the mouth. There can be perceived good and intense aromas of black cherry, black fruit, raspberry, blueberry, black currant and hints of violet. The attack in the mouth is pretty crisp, well balanced by alcohol and tannins. A balanced wine, intense and with good body. The finish is persistent with pleasing flavors of raspberry and blueberry. Barbarot is produced with a temperature controlled fermentation in steel tanks followed by an aging of 4 months in bottle.

Alcohol: 12.5%

Roasted meat, Hard cheese, Broiled meat and barbecue

Colli Bolognesi (Emilia-Romagna) The wine shows a firm ruby red color, moderate transparency. The nose reveals a rich series of intense aromas of good personality. There can be perceived aromas of black cherry, blueberry, plum and violet followed by aromas of licorice, carob, leather and hints of thyme and sage. In the mouth denotes good balance, good body and intensity with a good correspondence to the nose. Tannins, which are in good evidence, are already soft and balanced by alcohol. The finish is persistent with flavors of blueberry and thyme. This wine is produced with fermentation in steel tanks followed by a 6 months aging in bottle.

Alcohol: 13%

Colli Bolognesi (Emilia-Romagna) This wine, a good example of Colli Bolognesi's Cabernet Sauvignon, shows a deep ruby red color with nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose reveals intense and clean aromas of fruit, of good personality. The perceived aromas are of black cherry, ripe cherry and plum jam with pleasing hints of chocolate, black pepper, undergrowth, vanilla and toasted aromas of wood. In the mouth has good correspondence with the nose and a tannin attack, which is well balanced by alcohol, and good body. The finish is persistent with pleasing flavors of black cherry, plum jam and vanilla. A very well made wine which can be drunk in its current state, however it will give its best with some more aging in bottle. This wine is aged in barrique for 12 months and 6 months in bottle.

Colli Bolognesi (Emilia-Romagna) The wine has a greenish yellow color and nuances of straw yellow. As the wine is poured in the glass denotes a good effervescence which tends to disappear within seconds and showing a pretty fine perlage of pretty persistence. At the nose denotes aromas of good personality, mainly oriented to fruit such as pineapple, apple, hazelnut followed by aromas of hawthorn and dried flowers as well as hints of yeast, walnut-husk and toasted bread. In the mouth reveals good effervescence and good crispness, which tends to slightly prevail over alcohol. The finish is pretty persistent with flavors of toasted bread and apple. This wine is produced by second-fermentation in bottle for 90 days.

Alcohol: 11.5%

Colli Bolognesi (Emilia-Romagna) The wine has a amber yellow color and nuances of golden yellow, very transparent. The olfactory profile is rich and intense, mainly oriented to candied and dried fruit. There can be perceived good aromas of dried apricot, candied fruit, peach jam, almond, hazelnut, walnut, pastry, citrus fruit peel, raisin and grape macerated in alcohol. In the mouth the wine denotes a good roundness, followed by good alcohol as well as good correspondence to the nose. The finish is pretty persistent with evident flavors of peach jam and dried apricot. Grapes used for the production of this wine are dried until February and the must is fermented in steel tanks. The wine is subsequently aged for 6 months in barrique and 6 more months in bottle.

Alcohol: 14.5%

The nose reveals an intense and rich series of aromas, mainly of fruit, such as citrus fruit, apple, pear and grapefruit followed by aromas of broom, hay, candy, seaweed and hints of yeast. The attack in mouth in pretty crisp, however the wine is well balanced by alcohol. Good correspondence with the nose and mouth pleasing rich of fruity aromas. The finish is persistent with pleasing and clear flavors of citrus fruit and apples. The wine is produced with temperature controlled fermentation in steel tanks.
