The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of dried fig, raisin and apricot jam followed by aromas of quince jam, honey, prune, almond, vanilla, lavender and enamel. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a sweet attack and pleasing roundness, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of apricot jam, honey, dried fig and raisin. Botrys ages for 18 months in barrique.

This Brunello di Montalcino ages for about 42 months in cask followed by about 8-9 months of aging in bottle.
