Deep ruby red and nuances of garnet red, little transparency.

Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of black currant, plum and black cherry followed by aromas of dried violet, peony, blueberry, tobacco, cocoa, leather, licorice, carob, mace, vanilla, graphite and eucalyptus.

Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness.

Persistent finish with flavors of black currant, plum and black cherry.

12 months in barrique, at least 12 months in bottle.


Alcohol: 14.5%

Game, Roasted meat, Stewed meat, Cheese

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (Abruzzo) This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of purple red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, blackberry and raspberry. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, plum and blackberry. This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo ages for 12 months in barrique.

Alcohol: 14%

Broiled meat and barbecue, Sauteed meat, Cheese

The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas that start with hints of black cherry, plum and blackberry followed by aromas of blueberry, violet, vanilla, pink pepper, cinnamon, carob, mace and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, plum and blackberry. A well made wine. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Vigna Sant'Angelo ages for 12 months in barrique followed by 12 months of aging in bottle.

The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, plum and almond. Trebbiano d'Abruzzo ages in steel tanks.
