The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundnedd. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, black cherry and blackberry. Cortona Sangiovese Girifalco ages for 12 months in barrique followed by 12 months of aging in bottle.

The finish is persistent with flavors of raisin, honey and dried fig. This Vin Santo di Montepulciano ages for 3 years in small oak barrels.
