Colli Orientali del Friuli (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) Colli Orientali del Friuli Bianco Spiule shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of apple, banana and plum followed by aromas of almond, hawthorn, pineapple, broom, pear, vanilla and rosemary. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of banana, plum and almond. The Chardonnay ages for 4 months in barrique, whereas the Friulano and Ribolla Gialla grapes age for 4 months in steel tanks. Colli Orientali del Friuli Bianco Spiule ages for 12 months in bottle.

Alcohol: 14.5%

The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and pleasing roundness, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, blackberry and black cherry. Colli Orientali del Friuli Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Vôs da Vigne ages for 12 months in barrique followed by 3 months of aging in bottle.
