Verdicchio di Matelica (Marches) Verdicchio di Matelica Petrara shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of apple, plum and almond followed by aromas of pear, broom, medlar and hawthorn. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, plum and almond. Verdicchio di Matelica Petrara ages for 6 months in steel tanks followed by 2 months of aging in bottle.

Alcohol: 13%

Cold cuts, Pasta with meat, Sauteed meat, Roasted fish
