This grappa is limpid, colorless and crystalline. The nose reveals intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas of blackberry, plum, dried violet,
hazelnut and raspberry, with almost imperceptible alcohol pungency. In the
mouth has intense flavors with perceptible alcohol pungency which tends to
dissolve rapidly, good correspondence to the nose, pleasing roundness,
balanced. The finish is persistent with flavors of blackberry, plum and
raspberry. This grappa is distilled in a batch steam operated alembic still. |

Questa grappa mi ha fatto ricredere sulla qualità di questa distilleria toscana. In genere ho provato grappe prodotte con uve di altre cantine e spesso non mi hanno convinto completamente. Questa invece mi sembra ben fatta, molto profumata e piacevole all'assaggio. L'alcol non è mai eccessivo o invadente e la morbidezza è decisamente suadente. Un'ottima grappa.
