Chianti Classico (Tuscany)
Sangiovese (90%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%)

Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
This Chianti shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red,
little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined
aromas that start with hints of plum and black cherry jam followed by
aromas of blueberry jam, pomegranate, dried violet, vanilla, licorice,
tobacco, carob and pink pepper. In the mouth has good correspondence to the
nose, a slightly tannic attack and however well balanced by alcohol, full
body, intense flavors, good tannins, agreeable. The finish is persistent
with flavors of plum and black cherry jam. This Chianti ages for 14 months
in barrique followed by at least 12 months of aging in bottle.
