Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
This wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red,
moderate transparency. The nose reveals an olfactory profile mainly of
fruit with good and intense aromas of black cherry, blueberry,
blackberry, plum, vanilla and violet. In the mouth is very balanced and
agreeable, good correspondence to the nose and good body, pleasing
tannins well balanced by alcohol. The finish is persistent with
flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum. This wine is produced with
the classic technique of "ripasso" which consists in macerating
Amarone's skins in Valpolicella classico wine after it has been
decanted in march. The wine is aged for 2 years in cask and for 6
