The wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry, black currant and plum followed by aromas of blueberry, violet, cocoa, leather, vanilla, licorice and tobacco. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and good roundness, however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, good tannins. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, black cherry and black currant. A well made wine. Pix ages for 12-15 months in barrique.
