This Marsala shows a deep amber yellow color and nuances of amber yellow,
transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant
aromas which start with hints of rancho, almond and fig jam followed by
aromas of dried apricot, date, leather, caramel, coffee, porcino mushroom,
licorice, orange marmalade, walnut, hazelnut, tobacco, enamel and vanilla.
The mouth has very good correspondence to the nose, an alcoholic attack and
appreciable crispness, pleasing roundness, however balanced, full body,
intense flavors. The finish is very persistent with long flavors of fig
jam, almond, date, coffee and hazelnut. A great Marsala. This reserve ages
in oak casks.
