The wine shows a pale amber yellow color and nuances of golden yellow,
transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
which start with hints of raisin, dried fig and date followed by aromas of
apricot jam, candied fruit, lavender, almond, orange marmalade, honey,
hazelnut and vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a
sweet and round attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of raisin,
apricot jam, date and dried fig. L'Autentica ages for 14 months in cask
followed by 4 months of aging in bottle.
