Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Riserva Colli del Mancuso 2001
Cirò (Calabria)

Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
This Cirò Rosso shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of orange red,
moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined that start with hints of black cherry and plum followed by aromas
of blueberry, dried violet, vanilla, tobacco, black pepper, cocoa, licorice
and hints of nutmeg. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a
tannic attack and pleasing crispness, however balanced by alcohol, good
body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of black
cherry and plum. Colli del Mancuso ages for 8 months in barrique.
