Score: ✧✧✧✧❂ |
The wine shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow,
very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined
aromas which start with hints of apple, pear and plum followed by aromas of
hawthorn, hazelnut, litchi, praline, honey and vanilla. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and pleasing smoothness, however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent
with flavors of plum, apple and hazelnut. Cima del Giglio ages for 5-6
months in steel tanks.
