Aphrodisium 2005
(Latium)
Viognier, Fiano, Greco, Petit Manseng
|
Sweet Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧✭ |
This wine shows a pale golden yellow color and nuances of golden yellow,
very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and
elegant aromas that start with hints of grape, apricot and peach followed
by aromas of litchi, candied fruit, pear, vanilla, quince, date, almond and
honey. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a sweet attack and
pleasing crispness, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of grape, peach
and honey. A well made wine. Aphrodisium ferments in barrique. |
