Lungarotti Brut Metodo Classico
(Umbria)
Chardonnay (50%), Pinot Nero (50%)

Sparkling Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧ |
The wine shows a brilliant golden yellow color and nuances of straw yellow,
very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose denotes intense,
clean and pleasing aromas that start with hints of bread crust and hazelnut
followed by aromas of hawthorn, apple, yeast, plum, nougat and grapefruit.
The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp and effervescent
attack, pleasing roundness, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, grapefruit and
hazelnut. Lungarotti Brut is produced with the classic method and ages in
the bottle on its lees for 36 months. |
