This Passito di Pantelleria shows a brilliant amber yellow color and
nuances of amber yellow, transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of raisin, dried fig and
dried apricot followed by aromas of candied fruits, peach jam, almond,
honey, citrus fruits peel, lavender and sage. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a sweet and smooth attack, however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent
with flavors of raisin, dried fig and honey. This Passito di Pantelleria
ages for 5 months in cement tanks, 8 months in barrique and at least 6
months in bottle.
